Marketing and Communications Manager

Elevator Up is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead the creative marketing strategy and help craft our story. We’re looking for strong experience with strategic planning, brand development, and digital marketing. You will be helping us build and promote our brand, and grow our customer base. From supporting leadership and sales, to working with our designers and developers, your role collaborates with all parts of the team.


  • Direct Elevator Up’s desired image and position of our brand, assuring consistent communication and messaging
  • Identify sales strategies and market opportunities within Elevator Up’s core competencies, digital product development and software design
  • Build and execute messages for different audiences
  • Create a library of internal and external marketing assets and tools such as:
    • portfolios
    • cut sheets
    • case studies
    • competitor analyses
    • customer testimonials
    • customer surveys
    • promotional materials
    • conference and event schedules
    • press releases
    • company document templates
  • Oversee creation and execution of marketing materials, campaigns, and events (press, print, digital)
  • Manage budgets and financial projections on marketing efforts
  • Attend community events, conferences, and sales meetings as needed
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for press, media, and related public relations needs
  • Work with our design/development teams to produce marketing materials
  • Provide guidance and support as needed for clients and other Elevator Up ventures (The Factory and coLearning)
  • Contribute one article per month to the Elevator Up blog

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and digital advertising
  • Ability to show a solid history of experience in strategic planning, brand management, digital marketing, with measured effectiveness of each
  • Excellent writing and copywriting skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Knowledge of design personas, design thinking, and UX design exercises is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations or similar field also a plus
